Nearly every Saturday John brings me home a bouquet of flowers from the Farmers Market. Beautiful, seasonal and fresh as can be, it's such a special treat. I think I'll keep him for another 23 years!
This past Saturday I walked into our bathroom to a beautiful, spicy fragrance, and these bundles of jonquils! I wrapped a fat, white ribbon around the stems and have enjoyed them every moment possible!
I'd love to know the variety if anyone can tell me, to grow some in my own yard! Or maybe not, maybe I will just enjoy their fleeting beauty this week....and the pleasure of receiving flowers for no special reason.
